When a user logs in with the wrong password, Connect will prompt the user to enter the correct password. However, the system administrator can change the default setting to limit the number of times a user can attempt to log in. When a user exceeds the number of log in attempts allowed, Connect locks the user out and the user cannot log in until the system administrator unlocks the user security.
1. Open Connect System Management > Security > Modify Security Settings.
2. Click on the Lock Out After [ _ ] Failed Attempts.
3. Enter the number of failed attempts allowed.
Important! Enter a zero (0) to allow an unlimited number of login attempts.
Lock out user after x failed attempts
4. Click Save (CTRL+S).
The lock out setting is saved for all users.
