I'm using the same device and Connect Online keeps asking for an authentication code. Why?

Every time I launch Connect Online, I have to enter an authentication code. My organization is set up to remember the authentication code for thirty days. Why is this happening to me and how can I make it stop?
Explanation
Multi-factor authentication for Connect and Connect Online will only remember authentication for one browser on one device at a time. If you use the same device with a different browser, you will be prompted for a new authentication code. The same applies for using a different device with the same browser.
The more stringent MFA setup for Connect and Connect Online 3/20/2019 16:33ers a higher level of protection from phishing attacks.
