Where can I select the databases a user can access?
Connect is capable of using different databases to run the applications in the Connect family. If you like, you can pick one database to run Payroll for one user and a different database to run Payroll for another user. If your organization is set up with more than one database, you can assign the user the right to access the database they will need to complete their tasks.
Assigning rights to access a database
1. Open Connect System Management > Security > Setup/Modify User Rights.
2. Use the Look Up bar to enter a user name.
3. Click to select the Databases tab.
4. Click to select the checkbox next to a database to grant rights to the user.
A blank checkbox means the user does not have rights to access the database.
The databases are assigned to the user.
