How do I add billing comments to a time entry? (Connect Online)

Add more information to a time entry. Adding billing comments can 

  • Explain what time was spent on. 

  • Helps managers see the progress being made. 

  • Ensure the work matches the contract or purpose. 

  • Understand how time is being allocated and whether tasks are aligned with priorites. 

 

Adding billing comments to a time entry

1. Open My Dashboard.

2. Click the link titled View My Timesheet.

My Timesheet records time entries for each day. Time entries are highlighted in yellow.

3. Click on a time entry.

You can click on any time entry that's recorded on My Timesheet but not on a [+], that's a cell that doesn't record a time entry.

My Timesheet expands to show a Comments field.

4.  Enter a comment.

5. Click Save.

A comment bubble displays next to the hours recorded on My Timesheet. Clicking on the comment bubble will open the comment for viewing and editing.

Deleting a comment from a time entry

1. Open My Timesheet.

2. Click on a comment bubble.

3. Click Delete.
