Warning Message: Leave Hours Exceeded

Issue

The number of hours entered for the employee exceeds the available leave for [pay code] [sub code] [pay code description] by [amount]. 


 

Solution

This warning message displays when the time entry creates a negative leave balance. In other words, the employee has requested more leave time than they have available to use.

  • To create an entry for the negative leave balance,  click Yes. 

  • To abort the entry, click No.
