Usually, the position control number is a number that has not been assigned to another position in the organization. Organizations use the position control number to monitor transactions for the position for the budgeting purposes.
1. Open Connect Timekeeping Employees Modify Existing Employees.
2. Use the Employee field to enter an employee name or number. Press Enter.
3. Click to select the Positions tab.
4. Click to select a position from the list of the employee's positions,
5. Find the field titled Position Control Number on the Position subtab.
This is the position control number assigned to the employee's position.
