You'll need to find out if the transaction has been updated to the General Ledger. Transactions that have been updated to the General Ledger are handled differently from transactions that have not been updated to the General Ledger.

1. Open Connect Asset Management > Assets > Retire Assets.
2. Find the transaction to delete and then click the Delete button at the beginning of the row.
The transaction is deleted from the transaction grid.
If you delete a retired asset that is linked to other assets, the other linked assets will be listed on the Related Assets tab. You'll need to retire the related assets before you can retire the primary asset.
