Yes, the transaction has been updated to the General Ledger. If you delete a transaction that has been updated to the General Ledger, the system will create voiding and reversing transactions for the deleted transaction.
No, the transaction has NOT been updated to the General Ledger. Use Assets > Traded Assets to delete the transaction. You'll need to enter the Input Date when the asset was traded. Finally, click Delete (CTRL+D).
1. Open Connect Asset Management > Assets > Trade Assets.
2. Click Delete (CTRL+D).
3. Click to select Delete Single Disposition.
4. Enter the Asset Number.
5. Click OK.
The transaction is deleted.
