A plot, or a burial plot, is
a piece of property that is purchased in a cemetery for the burial of
an individual or family. Use Setup New
Plot to add information regarding a newly purchased plot, including
the owner of the plot and the plot location of family members of the deceased.
1. Open Connect Cemetery Management > Plots > Setup New Plots.
2. Add the plot information.
The plot information is stored on the Plot tab.
3. Add the owner information.
If the owner information is available, you can add it now. If the plot does not have an owner, you can leave the owner information blank or assign the plot to the available owner.
4. Add the family information.
Use the options on the Family tab to enter the name, relationship, and the plot location where the family members of the deceased are located in the cemetery. If the plot owner is unassigned to assigned to the available owner, you can leave the family information blank.
5. Add attachments (optional) and enter user-defined information.
If your organization saves attachments such as receipts, certificates, and so on, you can add the files to the Attachments tab to save the files with the plot.
If your organization has set up user-defined fields to collect additional information, they will be displayed on the User-Defined tab. The user-defined fields may or may not be required depending on how the organization has set up the user-defined field. To add or remove a user-defined field, see the User-Defined tab in the Organization table.
6. Click Save (CTRL+S).
Location
Location
refers to the area occupied by the plot; usually, a sequence of numeric
or alpha-numeric characters.
Deceased
Deceased refers to the name of the individual who died.
A birth date is the date when the individual was born. MM/DD/YYYY
The birth place is the location where the individual was born. The field length is 40 characters.
Leave this field blank when the plot is purchased prior to death. The death date is the date when the individual is pronounced dead. MM/DD/YYYY

The burial date is the date when the deceased was deposited in the earth. MM/DD/YYYY
A perpetual certificate is a certificate that does not have an expiration date. For example, a burial plot that is renewed each year. The perpetual certificate number is the number that is assigned to the certificate.
The latitude is the distance in degrees from north to south, while the longitude is the distance in degrees from west to east. Use latitude and longitude to map a plot's location on a map.
This is the measure of the burial plot from the topsoil to the bottom.
