The organization is using billing cycles and a customer is assigned to a billing cycle that doesn't exist.
Explanation
If the organization is using billing cycles, then each customer should be assigned to an active billing cycle.
Solution

Use Modify Existing Customers to the assign the customer to a billing cycle. Contact customer service at (800) 228-9851 for assistance.

If your organization is not using billing cycles, then every customer will be assigned to 1 as the default billing cycle.
