If you're using Caselle to back up Connect Applications, follow these instructions to restore data from a Caselle backup file. Using a Caselle backup file means that you can save a backup file to a hard drive, network drive, or online drive. This is for Connect users who have a Caselle backup license.
1. Open Connect System Management > System Tools > Load Databases.
2. Set up the Loading Data options.
Load Databases
Load data to server
Select the destination location to restore the backup file.
Load data from
Select Backup.
File name
The menu lists the available backup files. Select the backup file to restore from the menu.
Rename as
Enter a new database name. Using a new database name will restore the database without overwriting the current database.
Suppress all prompts
Select the checkbox to suppress all prompts to update tables.
Process database updates
Select the checkbox to install database updates.
Launch application using new data
Select the checkbox to restore the backup file, close Connect Applications, and then launch Connect Applications running the restored database.
3. Click GO (CTRL+G).
