Warning: Employee has a check calculated in the pay period but they are terminated

If benefits have already been calculated for the employee and the pay period and the employee was terminated, you will receive this warning.

Warning

  • Click Yes to create benefits for the terminated employee. If the employee termination date is before the check transaction date, then processing this routine for the employee will create benefits for the terminated employee.

  • Click No to exit. The routine will create benefits for the rest of the selected employees but benefits will not be created for the terminated employee.

Connect looks at the employee termination date to make sure the routine is not replacing benefit transactions that you don't want to replace. You may need to do a little troubleshooting to resolve the issue.

  • If the employee was terminated by mistake, open Modify Existing Employee and remove the date from the End Date box on the Positions tab > Position tab.
