How do I enter final test results?

Record the final test results for an assembly.

You would enter final test results after repairs or corrective actions have been completed on a backflow assembly that previously failed testing. Recording the final test confirms that the assembly is now functioning properly and meets compliance requirements before returning it to service. This helps maintain accurate testing records, documents successful resolution of the issue, and updates the assembly’s compliance status in the system.

Entering final test results

1. Open Connect Backflow Management > Assemblies > Enter Assembly Test Results.

2. Enter the Assembly ID.

3. Review the Action Date, Tax Year, and Description.

4. Use the Test Results menu to select the final test results.

5. Click to select the Final tab.

6. Fill in the fields on the Final Tab.

Pressing the Enter key will stop the user on the Final tab to enter the final test results. If there's nothing to enter, you can press Enter to move through the fields on the Final tab or you can click on the Initial tab to enter initial test results, or the Repair tab to enter the repair information. Click Options (F12) to select the Stop at Repair Tab checkbox.

7. Click Save (CTRL+S).

The final test result is recorded.
